MIST 2022 Information

Welcome to MIST 2022!

Welcome to the 2022 MIST Tournament, we are fortunate to have a tournament this year, so please excuse the last-minute planning.  We are looking forward to a great weekend of shoreline soccer.  There is a lot of information in this email, so please read through it carefully.

General Information

  • Tournament Check In Before your first game, you must check in to submit your roster, liability and medical release, and pick up sportsmanship awards.  There will be a tournament check in table at Salt Meadow and at Exchange Field.  If your first game is on Strong Turf, please check in at Exchange field. Please arrive for check in as early as possible so we can collect all documentation and you have plenty of time to prep your teams. 

  • Tournament Organization – Teams have been organized into brackets based on age and strength of play.  Each team should expect to play two games on Saturday and two games on Sunday.  Brackets with 3 teams will play two games on either Saturday or Sunday.

  • Rosters – Please reply to this email to submit your team roster ([email protected] )  or bring your roster to tournament check in before your first game. 

  • Release of Liability and Medical Consent – Please click on the link to download: Release_of_Liability_and_Consent_for_Medical_Treatment_2022_MIST form.  Please have your players parents sign this form and return to via email  ([email protected], or bring to tournament at check in. 

  • Payment- If you have not paid, please bring a check to the field and hand in at the tent before your 1st game. Payment options Venmo, @madisonyouthsoccer checks day of before 1st game or mail to write/send checks to MYSC PO BOX 4099 Madison, CT 06443

  • Brackets – Please review the 2022 MIST Brackets and verify that your team is in the appropriate bracket.   This is very important.  Identifying any issues with the bracket please contact us immediately. 

  • Schedule- The tournament schedule will be posted on our website. MIST Tournament (

  • Please understand that we have field and referee limitations that will make it hard to make any additional changes. 

    • We have tried to accommodate all schedule requests as best we can.  

    • The Final schedule will be available on our website for your team, parents and fans:  

We reserve the right to make any last-minute changes to the schedule.  We will try to limit the impact of any further changes.  Please check the schedule on the website on Friday to make sure that there have not been any additional changes.

Salt Meadow Park – Fields #1-#4 – 1350 Boston Post Rd., Madison CT

Surf Club (Exchange)* – Fields #5-#10 – Surf Club Rd., Madison CT  *note that Field #5 – Strong Turf is at the Surf Club, while the Exchange Fields are at the back of the Surf Club

  • MIST Rules 2022 – Are found on our website MIST Rules (

  • Food and Beverage – There will be a pizza and ice cream truck at the Salt Meadow field. There will be an ice cream truck at the Exchange field. If you have games at Exchange, please plan accordingly to bring drink and snacks. 

  • Used Cleat and Soccer Ball Drive – MYSC will be collecting used soccer cleats and soccer balls for donation to children in need.  There will be collection bins at both Salt Meadow and Exchange fields.  Information posted on our website. MIST Cleat and Ball Drive (
