NEW This spring season Madison Youth Soccer Club we will be transitioning to a new format for kids in Kindergarten and 2nd grade. These changes bring our program in line with other area programs and enhance the skill development at younger ages ensuring a more enjoyable experience for all participants.
Outlined below are the new age groupings and corresponding activities:
-Clinic: Will again be offered to kids in Pre-K and kids in Kindergarten if they have not participated in clinic before. This will be 1 session offered on Saturdays.
-4v4, smaller field with 2 goals and no goalie (previously our 1/2 rec program): Will now be offered to 1st graders and kindergarteners. There will be 1 practice a week and a game on Saturday mornings.
-7v7 larger field, with 1 goal and goalie (previously our 3/4 reg program): Will now be offered to kids in 2nd, 3rd and 4th grades. There will be 1 practice a week and a game on Saturday mornings.

-If you have a child in pre-k you will continue to participate in the clinic.
-If you have a Kindergartner you can choose to have them participate in the clinic or the k/1 rec program.
-If you have a 1st grader they will continue to play in the format they played in the fall, although they will now be playing with kids who are in kindergarten.
-If you have a 2nd grader they will now be playing 7v7 on a larger field with 1 goal and a goalie with 3rd and 4th graders.
-If you have a 3rd grader they will continue to play in the format they played in the fall (7v7), although they will now be playing with kids who are in 2nd and 4th grade.
-If you have a 4th grader they will continue to play in the format they played in the fall (7v7), although they will now be playing with kids who are in 2nd and 3rd grade. They also still have the option to play on a travel team that is based on their birth year.
