For the Fall 2017 - Spring 2018 seasons, NASC offers soccer programs for children from 4 to 18 years of age:-
- Our Under 5 and Under 6 Micro programs serve as an introductory program for children aged 4 or 5 years old as of July 31st. You register for a Saturday morning time slot.
- For 6 to 9 year olds (U7 through U10) we offer our inhouse recreational programs designed for fun and soccer skill development. Times vary week-to-week, but they are all Saturday mornings on NA fields.
- For U11 through U19, NASC only offers travel programs which play Sunday afternoons on various north suburban fields.
Age groups can be confusing. The U stands for "under". The age refers to your child's age as of January 1 prior to the season your child is playing. For example, if your child turned 7 on December 15, she would play U8. If your child turned 7 on January 15, she would play U7, since she was still 6 on January 1. Still not sure, check the age chart by clicking this link. For the Fall 2017-Spring 2018 seasons, eligible kids must have been born between January 1, 1999 and 12-31-2013.
In-house to refers to our spring and fall outdoor programs that involve play against only other NASC teams in the same age group on Saturdays at NASC fields. The travel programs play against teams from other clubs on Sunday afternoons. Typically half of the games are played at fields used by other soccer clubs in the North Hills. NASC does not organize an indoor league.
