BASKETBALL TRYOUTS/EVALUATIONS (attendance is required to be placed on a team)
- 5th & 6th girls - Thursday, Nov 3rd 3:30-5:00pm @ BMS Gym
- 7th & 8th girls - Thursday, Nov 3rd 5:30-7:00pm @ BMS Gym
TRY OUTS:
Things kids should bring: Athletes should bring appropriate shoes (basketball or running shoe) and water bottle. Basketballs are not required but are welcomed with player's name on it (size 28.5 for all girls and boy 5 & 6 grade - size 29.5 for 7-8 boys)
What they can expect: Athletes will participate in various basketball related drills where coaches will be evaluating their skill level for potential placement on a Banks Youth Classic Basketball team.
Parent attendance: We kindly ask that parents drop their athlete(s) at the gym doors and return when the evaluations are finished.
Future dates for practices beginning: Practices can begin the week of November 8, schedules will not be determined until teams are finalized
When decision will be made: BYBA will be placing athletes on teams as soon as possible after try outs.
Who is evaluating: BYBA volunteers and Banks High School Basketball staff will be evaluating the athletes for team placement
