As a non-profit organization, the Mason Dixon Soccer League runs solely on charitable contributions and player registration fees. In order to keep the league operating, sufficient funds must be raised to cover expenses like safe and proper game equipment (goals, nets, balls), practice gear (cones, pinnies), medical kits, flags, field rental and maintenance fees, insurance, referee fees, league fees, custodial fees, uniforms, concussion awareness, coaches’ training programs, tournament fees…the list goes on.
