- Most recreational teams at Arkansas United are parent coached. We do offer coach’s training if you do not know the game.
- Do you want to play with Arkansas United for FREE? Be a Coach! One volunteer parent coach per team will get a registration fee waived minus the uniform cost.
- Coaches will have to attend the preseason coaches’ meeting.
- Coaches are expected to attend all games or have an assistant coach/parent fill in.
- All Coaches must complete/pass a state background check annually. Once you are placed with a team, you will receive an email directing you to a link to complete the background check. Once approved and placed on a team you will then receive a refund of your player's registration fee.
- Arkansas United encourages coaches at U7-U18 to become certified with an F license. You can find out more about the F license and register for it by clicking HERE.

Our Spring 2016 Recreational Coaches meeting dates are below. If you are a volunteer recreational coach it is important you make plans to attend ONE of these meetings for your age group. We will be giving you information on how to manage your teams, distributing team rosters and contacts, and signing up for practice times and locations.
Level 2 coaches (U9-U18) are also required to attend, or have someone attend for you, the Arkansas state scheduling meeting held at the beginning of each season. For Spring 2016 this meeting is scheduled for February 20, 2016, from 9:00 AM-12:00 PM. This is where you will schedule the games for your team in the Central Arkansas State League (CASL). This league is run by the Arkansas State Soccer Association.
