Are you new to soccer? We are here to help! CLICK HERE for some great information from US Youth Soccer for first time soccer parents.

Our ultimate goal is to:

  • Develop skilled, confident and creative players.
  • Make the game fun to practice and play.
  • Teach good sportsmanship and respect for all.
  • Value winning but not more than character and performance.
  • Provide a safe & educational experience.

Arkansas United is the only club in the state that provides training for our recreational coaches and skills sessions
to all of our recreational players at no additional cost!
We are dedicated to providing an environment of educating and developing both players and coaches for the growth
                                                                                      of youth soccer in Arkansas.

Our focus for our recreational players:

  • All recreational teams at Arkansas United Soccer Club will focus on enjoying the game and player development.
  • All recreational teams at Arkansas United Soccer Club can attend a weekly skills and Goalkeeper session that is led by our Professional Coaching Staff.
  • All volunteer coaches of recreational teams will be provided weekly training session plans for their team training session.

Starting this spring U5 players will not have a skills training session before their games each Saturdays.
The U5 teams will still have the time to practice or warm up with their teams before the game, but it will be lead by the team coach.

The U5 and U6 skills training session will consist of 30 minutes of skills training with our professional coaching staff. The remaining 30 minutes can be used as a team training time with your coach or time to scrimmage with your team or another team. This will allow teams to get their skills and team training session in one day if they choose to do so.

For U9-U18 players we will offer Goalkeeper training every week during the season. We hope all of our recreational goalkeepers will take advantage of this position specific training.

Recreational Program Details

Registration:

When you register to play Recreational soccer with Arkansas United, you will be asked if you have a coach request or player request. This is the first piece of information we look at when forming teams each season. If you do not know a coach or player, we will work to get your player on a team with other players from their school.

Registration fees U5-U8 - $125** (includes uniform costs, field maintenance fees, and training fees)
Registration fees U9-U18 - $160** in fall, $135 in the spring for returning United players from the fall season (includes uniform costs, field maintenance fees, training fees, and referee fees)

Team Formations and Training:

Once registration has closed we will start forming teams. After being formed, the rosters will be given to the coach of the team, so they can contact all the players and parents. You should hear from your coach within a few days after the recreational coaches meetings. These meetings are where we will schedule team and skills training times. We will not know when a certain team or age group practices, until after the coaches meetings.

Game Schedules:

For our In House teams ages U5-U8, we schedule all the games. These game schedules will be created after we get the teams and rosters set. When completed, schedules will posted on the website and all registrants and coaches will be notified.

For L2 teams ages U9-U18, games will be scheduled through the Arkansas State Soccer Association. Teams will play in the Central Arkansas Soccer League (CASL) and games will be scheduled at the state scheduling meeting each season. Once this meeting has been held, and coaches confirm their games, they should notify their players and parents of the schedule for the season.
