Program Overview
At Holden Youth Soccer one of our goals is to make the game of soccer accessible to as many children as we can. We have designed a variety of program to serve our community. We aim to be progressive and innovative in program, coach, and player development with these programs and welcome feedback form the community. FUTURES LEAGUE (In-Town) - Pre-K, K, Grades 1 and 2 The Futures League program is a fun recreational program for Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 2 children. The program is designed to provide the players with an outdoor activity to introduce them to soccer through a variety of fun games.

CHAMPIONS LEAGUE (In-Town) - Grades 3-8 The Champions League program is an intramural recreational program for Grade 3 through Grade 8 children. The program is designed to provide the players with an opportunity to play soccer in a more relaxed and social environment.

Travel Program – Grades 3-12 The Holden Youth Soccer travel program provides players with the opportunity to participate in a competitive league and compete against neighboring towns. The travel program has a competitive focus, but still emphasizes fun, skill development, and reasonable participation.

W5 - Grades 9-12 The Holden Youth Soccer W5 (Wachusett 5) program provides high-school players with the opportunity to participate in a recreational soccer environment playing with peers from the 5 surrounding town and beyond.

Winter Futsal League – Grades K-8 The Holden Youth Soccer Futsal League is a Winter soccer opportunity which runs typically from Jan to Mar for players in grades K through 8. Futsal is the form of small-sided indoor Soccer played in a basketball court and a smaller ball than soccer that is harder and less bouncy.

Unified Program - Ages 12-18 The Special Olympics Massachusetts and Holden Youth Soccer have partnered to offer thus unique soccer opportunity for players with intellectual disabilities for players aged 12-18 years old. Unified soccer, a program of Special Olympics, promotes social inclusion by uniting individuals with and without intellectual disabilities on the same teams for training and competition, fostering friendships and understanding through shared sports experiences.

TOPS Program - Ages 5-12 TOPSoccer (The Outreach Program for Soccer) is a recreational sports program for children with intellectual, emotional, or physical disabilities. This community-based training and team placement program is for young athletes aged 5-14 with disabilities, organized by Holden Youth Soccer volunteers. The program is designed to bring the opportunity of learning and playing soccer to any boy or girl, who has a mental or physical disability. Our goal is to enable the thousands of young athletes with disabilities to become valued and successful members of the US Youth Soccer family.
