**Our goal for both beginners and advanced Tball is to teach the fundamentals of the game in a fun environment and to allow them to experience the value of teamwork**
Beginner Tball
Rules & Game Play
-Maximum of 3 innings where each team bats or an hour time limit
-Every child bats each inning (recommend rotating batting order to keep children engaged)
-On-deck batter should be sitting behind the orange fence. Only the batter will be allowed to hold a bat. Players should be arranged in batting order on bench to expedite innings
-Positions include: pitcher, 1st, 2nd, shortstop, 3rd, right field, right center field, left center field, and left field (recommend switching kids from outfield to infield each inning as available)
-Batter advances 1 base per at bat except for the last batter where he/she will run all the bases.
-In case of an out at a base, the runner will remain on that base and continue to run with the next batter's hit
-Score will not be kept
Advanced Tball
Rules & Game Play
All the above rules pertain to advanced Tball with the exception of...
-Each batter will receive 5 pitches from their coach each inning. If the batter does not hit a playable ball, he/she will be given the opportunity to hit off of a tee
-Runners will be out and will return to their "bench" when an out is made at their base
-Batters should be encouraged to run through 1st base instead of stopping on the base
-Catchers may be utilized in Advanced Tball and will be expected to wear a catchers mask.
-Each team will have 1 game to be taken place on an actual diamond.
