Games/Fields/Rainouts

• You will be responsible for scheduling a field day with your team and the team you share a field with. You are also responsible for chalking and lights prep on game days.
• All home game rain-outs will be decided by 4pm by the league. Let visiting coaches know right away. In the event of a rain-out, practice on the field is not allowed.
• Whether games are canceled for rain outs or other reasons, you will need to provide the opposing coach 3 alternate dates for a make-up game. You have one week to schedule a make-up game with the other coach.
• Contact Theresa Davis if you reschedule a home game so she can reschedule the umpires, and Kris McFarland so he can assign a field.

Baseball Coaches

NAYS Training

All coaches are required to complete NAYS training. Once completed, email copy of your certificate/card to Kris McFarland. Click to be taken to the NAYS Online training (bypass introductory information) .

Concussion Training
By Oregon state law, all youth coaches (including assistants) must now be certified in concussion training. Please take the half hour online course and print your certificate. You will need to send this to
Kris McFarland.

Equipment Deposit
This is mandatory. We will be collecting equipment deposits at the coaches meeting. Please bring a check for $100.00 made out to Pioneer Youth Sports. In the memo line please note "equipment deposit" and your last name. This check will be held for the season. When equipment is returned at the end of the season we will return the check to you.
