We have some exciting changes coming to our softball program!

8U: Team formation will remain the same. (there is no silver division for this age group)

10/12/14U: We will be adding a tournament option to our softball program. This is a big and exciting change!!  Our tournament/club side will be named Pioneer Premier. We will prioritize selecting players from the OC community/playing in our Pioneer Youth Sports program,  but players from the outside community are allowed to try out and join the team if they are key position players (ie:pitcher/catcher, etc…), or if more players are required to form a team. 

Jan/Feb: We will hold tryouts for those interested for the Pioneer Premier teams. Dates/times/location TBD. Practices and tournament dates TBD by each coach. There is a higher level of commitment expected from these players and families. Likely 2-3 practices/week plus tournaments through summer. 

March: Assessments will be held for the rec and silver divisions. From these assessments, we will put together silver teams for our 10/12U rec program. If there are multiple silver teams at any one division because the numbers and talent call for it, teams will be drafted by coaches and made even. 

**There is no silver division for 14U, so unfortunately this is not an option for this age group. However, we still want players to come to assessments so we can balance teams for this age group. 

WE CAN NOT TAKE BUDDY/COACH/SCHEDULE REQUESTS FOR TOURNAMENT AND SILVER TEAMS.  

We will do our best to accommodate requests at 8U, and for those playing at the non-silver rec level at 10/12/14U.
