Overview 

Auburn Thunder Academy (ATA) is a program designed to accelerate the development of your player. The focus is to encourage individual development. Players participate in sessions to increase technical ability and comfort on the ball. We encourage creativity and imagination. The ATA program is a segue and pathway from the recreation to academy to select and onto college. Players are introduced to skill based activities in a fun yet challenging environment with no lines, laps or lecturing!

This program allows players to experience a professional and competitive soccer environment while preparing players and parents for the next step of their soccer journey. ATA allows players to participate on a season-to-season basis. This allows the player and family flexibility. 

Format
Academy teams will practice for one hour and 30 min, twice a week 
Games will be played mainly on Saturdays 
Games will be played against other Academy Teams and local clubs
Academy participants will practice together and players will be split into balanced teams for games
Professional coaches will be at all practice and all games and no manager or parent will coach a practice session/game. 

Each player will be required to purchase the Academy NIKE uniform which costs +- $200
Every player will be required to wear the practice gear for every practice session
