Academy in Training (AIT) is a specialized training program for U8, U10 and U12 Recreational players. AIT is designed for players to experience the Auburn Thunder Junior Academy & Academy format at an earlier age. The goal is to provide players with a more structured and competitive experience.

The emphasis of AIT is on developing the basic soccer techniques and skills. The goal surrounds getting the maximum touches on the ball and all sessions will be run by our Thunder Professional  Coaches. It is an environment that is centered around player development.

The Friday co-ed training sessions are from 5:15 pm – 6:30 pm at Wire Road Soccer Complex.

In this 75 min session we plan to spend 40 minutes on technical skill development in our Play Practice Play model, while incorporating a fun, and competitive environment that is productive for the age level we are targeting. We plan to hold small-sided games in the last 20 minutes for a more competitive environment and more touches on the ball, than the players experience in their current recreational games and practices.
