Dear Auburn Thunder Soccer Club Member,

Auburn Thunder Soccer Club will hold its Annual Meeting of Members at 6:00 p.m. on August 23, 2021 at the Auburn Chamber of Commerce located at 714 East Glenn Avenue, Auburn, Alabama 36830 (see attached copy of Notice of Meeting that was delivered July 20, 2021).  The only item on the agenda for this meeting is to elect five (5) members to the board of directors.  It is very important that your vote is cast for the election of directors.  To that end, you may vote via one of two methods:  In person at the meeting on August 23rd, or by proxy by completing the attached proxy ballot and returning it via email to [email protected] or by mailing it to Auburn Thunder Soccer Club at 300 North Dean Road, Suite 5-184, Auburn, AL 36830.  All proxy ballots must be received prior to the meeting, thus returning the proxy by email is encouraged.

Given the current situation with COVID-19, masks worn appropriately (covering the mouth and nose) will be required to enter the meeting and will be required for everyone for the duration of the meeting.  Please keep in mind that the only item on the agenda to be voted on is the election of directors, which can be accomplished by voting by proxy.  In other words, one does not have to attend the meeting in person in order for their vote to be counted so long as a properly executed proxy ballot is received prior to the meeting itself.

We strongly encourage you to submit your vote by proxy whether you plan to attend the meeting in person or not for the purposes of establishing a quorum.  Please remember if you vote by proxy and attend the meeting in person, you may change your proxy vote, if so desired, at the meeting.  

If you have more than one child currently playing for Thunder, you are entitled to cast a vote for each child you currently have playing for Thunder.  For example, if you have three children currently playing for Thunder, you may submit three proxy ballots.   Please note that the ballots do not have to be marked the same as each other.  You may vote differently from ballot to ballot if you so choose.

  • Has had a child or children playing for Thunder for four years

• Chris Northcutt

  • Property Manager and Real Estate Broker for Northcutt Realty

  • Lifelong Auburn resident

  • Three children currently playing for Thunder (2008 Girls, 2011/2012 Girls, 2011/2012 Girls)

  • Has had a child or children playing for Thunder for 3.5 years

• Jeff Glasscock

  • Franchisee Which Wich Superior Sandwiches Auburn/Opelika

  • Lifelong Auburn resident

  • Previously served as Vice President (2019) and President (2020) of the Auburn Soccer Association Board
