DANBURY YOUTH SOCCER CLUB TRAVEL AND PREMIER PROGRAM INFO 2024-2025 season.

DYSC is celebrating our 48th Anniversary of Serving the Youth of Danbury as one of the longest standing and best Clubs in the State with a rich tradition and history.  DYSC has an outstanding partnership with the Mayor, City Parks and Recreation, PAL and Danbury Public School officials that help us provide excellent soccer venues in the city to support our programs year-round for outdoor and indoor futsal.

DYSC provides the highest level of coaching and a uniform approach to player development.  As each player moves through the program, they are placed at the appropriate level to reach their potential.  Our collective staff is comprised of coaches with active or past experience at the College level, the High School, CJSA Olympic Development Program, CJSA coaching Education, US Soccer Academy, regional teams, Elite, Premier and travel.  All of our coaches are US Soccer Federation Certified and work together as collective group to stay informed and up to date to all US Soccer federation updates and licensing requirements.

U9-16
(2016-2009)
Danbury Travel teams Season starts in the Fall of 2024 - there are Winter sessions and ends in the Spring 2025:
DYSC Teams play in the CJSA SWD leagues (southwest district) - which means playing teams in Fairfield county - 2 practices/week Fall and Spring, weekend games, tournaments, plus indoor winter training. Combined an estimated 50 training sessions and 25 games.
U12-19
(2013-2006)
Danbury/ACC Premier EDP teams CJSA EDP Premier League - 2 practices/week, SAQ* training each week, games, tournaments, ST CUP plus indoor training sessions.  Combined 70 training sessions and 25 games. High school aged players do not play during HS Soccer.

*SAQ, is Strength Agility and Quickness training, which is soccer specific training to build athleticism.  These sessions are run by professional fitness trainers.


Practice sessions are all on Danbury fields - home games are on Danbury fields.  Each team will have 4 away games in the Fall and 4 away games in the Spring, these games will be up to 1 hour away.  Tournaments on holiday weekends vary on locations.

TRAVEL AND PREMIER DEVELOPMENT PYRAMID

U5 U6 Introduction to soccer with fun and games. 8 weeks in the Fall and 8 weeks in the Spring
U7 U8 Introduction with more advanced exercises and 4 v 4 no goalies plus a practice night
U9 U10 7 v 7 soccer with goalies with a practice night and a game day
U11 U12 9 v 9 soccer more advance training 
U10 – DYSC Travel Teams compete in the Southwest District League
U12 – CJSA Premier Development Teams
U13 – CJSA Premier and Regional Leagues
U14 to U19 – DYSC places our teams in the best competitive environment for players to be challenged and grow as individuals.  This includes, CJSA Premier Leagues, Regional tournaments and College Showcase events where many DYSC players have been recruited by college soccer programs.

 

Travel costs for 2024-2025 season:

U9 and U10 (7v7 soccer for players born in 2015, 2016, and 2017) annual fee of $700. 
U11 and U12 (9v9 soccer for players born in 2013 and 2014) annual fee of $800
U13 and U14 (11v11 soccer for players born in 2011 and 2012) annual fee of $900

DYSC covers all costs for player registration, league fees, tournaments and trainer fees etc. Except a player’s uniform which is ordered via a separately using the approved DYSC vendor.
A team may choose to enter additional soccer camps, or extra tournaments, winter leagues, etc. at an additional cost.

TRAVEL AND PREMIER COACHING STAFF

ALL DYSC Travel Teams and Premier Teams are coached by Professional Trainers with USSF National Coaching Licenses.  DYSC follows the US Soccer curriculum that focuses on the four pillars of player development: Technical, Tactical, Physical and Psychosocial.  DYSC has a coaching development program for all of our Trainers.  Danbury Youth Soccer Club was founded in 1977 and is one of the leading Soccer Clubs in the State.  We have a rich history and each year register about 1,500 players in our programs.  We have partnered with AC Connecticut to provide our players the best teams to play on without leaving the area.
