Danbury Youth Soccer Club RECREATIONAL soccer

Danbury Youth Soccer Club Recreational Soccer Program.
Provides Soccer Academy Training and Games for Danbury area Children on Danbury Soccer Fields.
(Formerly called In-House Soccer Program)

The DYSC Recreational Program is based on an Academy Style training format designed to put the focus on Player Development and not on team results of winning and losing.  The players will train together on the same day during the week and be divided into teams each Saturday for games. Professional Trainers will run each of the academy age groups for every game day and training day.  The coaching curriculum puts the emphasis on player development, which has been the hallmark of our Recreational youth program for decades.  The curriculum is specific for each group and is based on US Soccer Federations Grassroots player development philosophy.

For the 2023 and 2024 Season, Children are grouped based on the year they born subtracted from 2024.
U5-2019, U6-2018, U7-2017, U8-2016, U9-2015, U10-2014, U11-2013, U12-2012, U13-2011, U14-2010

We will provide a shirt, shorts and sock for those registered for our SPRING season on the first day of soccer. Players from fall use the shirts from Fall.  Shin guards are required, (not provided) and cleats are recommended but optional.

Spring 2024 season dates: April 27, May 4,11,18,25, June 1,8 15 makeup 22
First Practices:  the week of April 21 - for U9 and older divisions
U7/U8 first game is Saturday April 27 and first practice is Thursday MAY 2.
U5/6 only play Saturdays and will start Saturday April 27.
Union Carbide field is located at: 1 Reserve Road, Danbury CT 06810 - look for gravel entrance on the right.
Kenosia Soccer Park is located at: 47 Christopher Columbus Avenue, Danbury CT 06810.

SPRING 2024 FEE IS $125 FOR U5/6 - - $150 FOR U7 and older

Girls U5-2019 & U6-2018 - Game time is Saturday 12 pm - no practice day - $125 
This is an introductory soccer program - 1 hour on Saturdays - Exercises and 4v4 games
