Danbury Youth Soccer Club Recreational Soccer Program.
Provides Professional Soccer Academy Training and Games for Danbury area Children on Danbury Soccer Fields.
Each DYSC Season, is 8 weeks in the Fall PLUS 8 weeks in the Spring.
In the Fall you can register for Fall ONLY or Fall and Spring.
In the Spring you can only register for Spring ONLY.
Since 1977 DYSC has been among the best soccer programs in the State of CT. Players are developed by Professional United States Soccer Federation licensed coaches. Players follow our pathway from:
Recreation to Travel to Premier to Academy/ECNL/USL 2 and USLW through our partnership with ACC.

The DYSC Recreational Program is based on the US Soccer Federation Academy Style training format designed to put the focus on Player Development and not on team results. DYSC has an incredible record of developing players that love the game and go one to great success in their future soccer careers. The players are grouped into ages described below and will train together on the same day during the week at the same time each week and be divided into teams each Saturday for games. Professional Trainers run each of the academy age groups for every game day and training day. The coaching curriculum puts the emphasis on player development, which has been the hallmark of our Recreational youth program since 1977. The curriculum is specific for each group and is based on US Soccer Federations Grassroots licenses.
The DYSC’s soccer season runs from Fall of 2025 through the Spring of 2026.
Children are grouped based on the year they are born subtracted from 2026.
Children born in 2021 are U5
(2020 are U6)
(2019 are U7) (2018 are U8)
(2017 are U9) (2016 are U10)
(2015 are U11) (2014 are U12)
(2013 are U13) (2012 are U14)

4 v 4: U5 & U6 & U7 & U8 players
7 v 7: U9 & U10
9 v 9: U11 & U12
11 v 11: U13 and older
DYSC will provide a shirt, shorts and socks on the first game day of soccer.
Shin guards are required, (not provided) and cleats are recommended but optional.
