Smyrna Soccer Club Rec Plus is a BRAND NEW  program for the Spring 2016 Season that is specially designed for further development of  the technical ability (skills) for our U5-U19 Boys/Girls Recreational Soccer Players who are registered and play in the Spring 2016 Smyrna Soccer Club Recreation Soccer Program.  The Rec Plus program consists of weekly sessions that reinforce basic soccer skills of co-ed participants in a fun way.

Particular emphasis is placed on developing and reinforcing dribbling, passing, receiving and finishing (shooting) skills through creative drills intended to challenge participants. Participants will be grouped by age (players could be moved groups based on technical ability level to better enhance the program experience).

All training sessions will be conducted by one of the Smyrna Soccer Club professional staff.

Program Dates and Information

Rec Plus coaching staff will host coed sessions this spring, running for eight weeks.

Who can sign up?   U5-U19 Boys/Girls Recreational Soccer Players who are registered and play in the Spring 2016 Smyrna Soccer Club Recreation Soccer Program.

When and where?   All sessions are weather permitting, and will be held in the Riverline Park on Fridays beginning March 11th. (Any rained-out sessions will be made-up)

What time? Training session will run from 6:00-7:00 pm or 7:00-8:00 pm which will be age based groups as older players will be in the later time slot.

What is the cost?   $60 per player.

What to to bring?   Participants should come with a soccer ball and water. Participants must wear shin guards, and soccer shoes.
