Camps are a great place for goalkeepers to polish their skills, work hard, make new friends and have fun! Our mission is to provide keepers with the tools to reach their full potential and achieve personal goals
So what are the factors that can make a good young goalkeeper stand out from the crowd?
Footwork
Is the key factor in our philosophy it is driven from the European side of goalkeeping, Footwork is everything! It is the most important thing our corner stone between the sticks....
Technique
Crossing, diving or even mental preparation... we work hard on the fundamentals of goalkeeping and its unique aspects to make sure the correct technique is being worked on at home and on the field
You?
The 2nd most important thing is the inner drive in a young goalkeeper and comes to the fore when he demonstrates just how much they wants to prevent the ball going into the net. Indeed, the extent to which the goalkeeper does not want to be beaten will determine how hard one will work to polish their strengths and minimize weaknesses.
Age: U9-19 Boys and Girls
Level of Play: The curriculum is geared towards all levels of players including players with elite aspirations. Players will be grouped by level of play and then with players of like ability to maximize development. Where appropriate groups will be mixed, and/or individual players will be moved.
Camp Length for Winter Camps: 3 Days
Camp Session Duration (UPDATED Wednesday, January 27th):
January 29th, 6-7 PM, Georgia Elite Futsal (1375 Pritchett Industrial Blvd, Austell, GA 30168)
January 30th, 9-11 AM, Tolleson Park (3590 King Springs Road Smyrna Georgia)
January 31st, 1-3 PM, Tolleson Park (3590 King Springs Road Smyrna Georgia)
Location: Georgia Elite Futsal and Tolleson Park
Camp Cost: $125 per U9-U19 player. Camp includes a H.O. Soccer GK Gloves Bag.
Staff: All camp schedule and curriculum created by a USSF 'A' Licensed Director. There will be a coach to player ratio of 1/10 (maximum).
