Elite Technical Development Training Camps - Ages u8-u14 - Summer 2016
The Smyrna Soccer Club Elite Technical Development Training Camp is designed for U8 to U14 Academy/Select Level Players. The camps are designed to develop specific technical skills, in a very focused and deliberate way, and relate the skills to position specific functionality.
Our Junior Academy Elite camp program will follow the same guidelines as our select age camp but geared towards the U8-U10 age groups.
There will be a specific camp for Goal Keepers, targeting Select level players ages U8-U14.
Age: U8-14 Boys and Girls
Level of Play: The curriculum is geared towards elite players and players with elite aspirations. Players will be grouped by level of play and then with players of like ability to maximize development. Where appropriate groups will be mixed, and/or individual players will be moved.
Camp Length for Summer Camps: 4 Days
Camp Session Duration: Summer schedule - 9:30 am - 1:30 pm.
Week 1 Camp:
June 6th, 7th, 8th & 9th - 9:30 AM - 1:30 PM (Riverline/Jonquil Parks)
Week 2 Camp:
June 13th, 14th, 15th & 16th - 9:30 AM - 1:30 PM (Riverline/Jonquil Parks)
Week 3 Camp:
June 20th, 21st, 22nd & 23rd - 9:30 AM - 1:30 PM (Riverline/Jonquil Parks)
Week 4 Camp:
June 27th, 28th, 29th & 30th - 9:30 AM - 1:30 PM (Riverline/Jonquil Parks)
# of Campers: Limited to 48 players per camp
Camp Cost: $200 per U8-U14 player. There is a 10% discount for multi-week camp registration.
Camp includes a Camp Tee Shirt & Soccer Ball.
Staff: All camp schedule and curriculum created by a USSF 'A' Licensed Director. There will be a coach to player ratio of 1/12 (maximum).
