PRESIDENT
The President of TEAM oversees all things TEAM.
Conducts meetings of the Board Members.
Works with the Treasurer to ensure all costs stay within budget.
Meets with leaders in NW Ohio and SE Michigan to create partnerships and bring in sponsorship dollars.
Spreads the message of TEAM to fill board positions and bring in donations.
VICE-PRESIDENT
The Vice-President may be called upon at any time to assume the President’s duties and responsibilities and should be fluent with the work of TEAM.
SECRETARY
The Secretary is responsible for keeping accurate records of the proceedings of TEAM.
Records meeting notes and distributes minutes for approval.
Prepares agendas for and drives meetings.
Gathers all pertinent information (policy changes, new board/operations committee members, website updates, event dates, etc.) and distributes it to the appropriate Board Members and Operations Committee Members.
TREASURER
The Treasurer receives and distributes all monies for TEAM.
Pays all invoices for each sport (uniform fees, field rental fees, security officers, referees, etc.).
Prepares financial statements for the Executive Board.
Deposits all donations.
Manages donor recognitions and appreciation.
OPERATIONS COMMITTEE MEMBERS_________________________________________
COMMISSIONER
There will be one Commissioner assigned to each sport (baseball, soccer, and basketball, currently). Commissioners are charged with making sure the season runs smoothly.
Creates the rosters for each team (with the help of the Board and Operations Committee Members) once registration has closed.
Oversees communications between TEAM, Division Directors, coaches, and parents.
Leads the coaches meeting and manages rules and their distribution to officials.
Distributes uniforms and equipment to the Division Directors.
Handles any challenges that arise throughout the season (practice field conditions, security concerns, rules clarification, etc.).
DIVISION DIRECTORS
There will be a Division Director assigned to each division of a sport. (Generally those are - Kindergarten, 1st/2nd grade, 3rd/4th grade, 5th/6th grade, and 7th/8th grade.) Division Directors will be the main point of contact between the Commissioner and all the coaches in their division.
Work with the Commissioner to ensure each team has a coach.
Work with the Commissioner to distribute uniforms, and plan and execute picture days.
Relay any pertinent information to coaches (game cancellations due to weather, any rule changes, reminders about picture day, etc.).
Make sure all coaches in their division have completed background checks and CPR training.
Relay any pertinent information to the Commissioner (challenges with practice, equipment needs, etc.).
Work directly with the Commissioner to ensure teams/coaches receive and return equipment prior to and following the season, and account for any loss or damages. .
SITE COORDINATORS
Site Coordinators are onsite on game days. There will be multiple Site Coordinators scheduled for a site throughout the season. This is a great role for parents - come early or stay late for a couple hours after your child’s game to make sure the day runs smoothly.
Assist with any field/court set-up and tear-down.
Make sure parents and visitors can find their correct field or court.
Relay any security issues to on-sight security officers. (You are not responsible for dealing with any security issues! We pay uniformed police officers to handle those.)
Represent TEAM and answer any questions.
