Effective 6/15/24

A zero tolerance policy is effective immediately for any actions the TEAM organization deems inappropriate toward an umpire.  

This includes but is not limited to:

• Arguing balls and strikes
• Arguing safe or out at base 
• Profanity, or any derogatory language 
• Heckling of any nature

This policy is effective for all coaches, parents, and spectators alike.  This type of behavior is without question why it has become increasingly difficult to secure umpires for our games.  TEAM will not allow the actions of a few to compromise this opportunity for thousands of children. Without umpires, we do not have a league. 

Under this new policy, the umpire or TEAM representative will have full discretion and authority.

• If someone exhibits this type of behavior, a security officer will immediately remove the individual from the premises.

• A second infraction will result in the individual receiving a lifetime ban from all future TEAM activities. 

TEAM will consistently implement policy designed with the safety of this community in mind.
