The fall Jr. NBA season starts on October 12th, 2024, and ends November 23rd, 2024. Games will be played Saturday mornings, unless otherwise rescheduled by the team coach or the Parks & Recreations department.

Pending enrollment numbers we will offer: 
7/8/9 Division: Girls League & Boys League
10/11/12 Division: Girls League & Boys League

Entry: $52.25

*If your child qualifies for the age group offered and you do not see a program available, please call or email the Parks & Rec department.

Registration Guidelines
You must register prior to attending an activity. Fees must be paid in full at time of registration.
If conditions warrant, activities are subject to change by the Parks and Recreation Department.
Program minimums and volunteer minimums must be met, or the activity is subject to cancellation. 
 
Our Refund Policy
Sometimes things do not go as planned. Othello Parks & Recreation reserves the right to cancel, reschedule or combine program activities. If Parks & Recreation cancels a program, participants will be notified by phone or email provided on the registration. A full refund will automatically be issued. Refunds are issued from the City Finance Department within approximately 15 to 30 days of the notice.
 
Please Note
NO REFUNDS will be issued for participant-initiated cancellations. 

The Jr. NBA Pledge

Everyone plays a role in creating a positive experience for players and teams.  Please review all the pledges below as guidelines to ensure everyone is treated with respect and can perform to the best of their abilities.

PLAYERS

  • I understand that working hard and competing to the best of my ability is more important than the outcome of games.
  • I will play the right way by competing ethically and honestly, with fairness, hustle, and enthusiasm.
  • I pledge to celebrate and encourage diversity and inclusion at all levels, because the game welcomes all.

COACHES

  • I pledge to honor the game by exhibiting a positive attitude toward all players, coaches, parents, and officials, treating them in the same manner I want to be treated.
  • I understand that working hard and competing to the best of my ability is more important than the outcome of games, and embrace that my words and actions are an example to my players.
  • I will coach the right way by preparing and encouraging my players to compete ethically and honestly, with fairness, hustle, and enthusiasm.
  • I will prioritize the mental and physical wellness and safety of all players above all else.
  • I pledge to celebrate and encourage diversity and inclusion at all levels, because the game welcomes all.

PARENTS

  • I pledge to honor the game by exhibiting a positive attitude toward all players, coaches, parents, and officials, treating them in the same manner I want to be treated.
  • I understand that my child working hard and competing to the best of his/her ability is more important than the outcome of games.
  • I will show my support in a fair and ethical manner, encouraging my child and his/her teammates through positive reinforcement, patience, and honesty, leaving the coaching to the coaches and the officiating to the officials.
  • I pledge to celebrate and encourage diversity and inclusion at all levels, because the game welcomes all.
