FALL Jr. NBA BASKETBALL (Indoor)

We are proud to partner with Jr. NBA/ Jr. WNBA and hope this brings excitement to you and your child.

We will only host teams if they have a volunteer coach. Volunteers may include high school age students. There will be a girls division if we can get 4 or more teams with coaches in each division.

Othello Junior Basketball is a game where the players try to maneuver the ball around other players, learn new athletic skills and create a bond with their teammates. The Summer season will be kicked off with an Opening Day Ceremony tentatively on October 5th! Game days are to be determined based on amount of participants. The Othello Parks and Recreation Department will work closely with the school district for gym availability. At this time we plan to have games on Saturday mornings. Teams are to be determined by age division, start times will be announced as soon as teams and divisions are divided and assigned randomly.

*Registration will close on September 8, 2024. We do not accept late registrations.

You must register prior to attending an activity. Fees must be paid in full at time of registration. If conditions warrant, activities are subject to change by the Parks and Recreation Department. Program minimums and volunteer minimums must be met, or the activity is subject to cancellation. 

 

Sometimes things do not go as planned. Othello Parks & Recreation reserves the right to cancel, reschedule or combine program activities. If Parks & Recreation cancels a program, participants will be notified by phone or email provided on the registration. A full refund will automatically be issued. Refunds are issued from the City Finance Department within approximately 15 to 30 days of the notice.

NO REFUNDS will be issued for participant-initiated cancellations.

Othello Junior Basketball es un juego en el que los jugadores intentan maniobrar el balón entre otros jugadores, aprender nuevas habilidades atléticas y crear un vínculo con sus compañeros de equipo. ¡La temporada de verano comenzará con una ceremonia del día de apertura tentativamente el 5 de octubre! Los días de juego se determinarán en función de la cantidad de participantes. El Departamento de Parques y Recreación de Othello trabajará estrechamente con el distrito escolar para determinar la disponibilidad de gimnasios. En este momento planeamos tener juegos los sábados por la mañana. Los equipos se determinarán por división de edad; los horarios de inicio se anunciarán tan pronto como los equipos y las divisiones se dividan y asignen al azar.

Pautas de registro 

Debe registrarse antes de asistir a una actividad. Las tarifas deben pagarse en su totalidad al momento de la inscripción. Si las condiciones lo justifican, las actividades están sujetas a cambios por parte del Departamento de Parques y Recreación. Se deben cumplir los mínimos del programa y los mínimos de voluntariado, o la actividad estará sujeta a cancelación. 

 

Nuestra política de reembolso 

A veces las cosas no salen según lo planeado. Othello Parks & Recreation se reserva el derecho de cancelar, reprogramar o combinar actividades del programa. Si Parques y Recreación cancela un programa, los participantes serán notificados por teléfono o correo electrónico proporcionado en el registro. Se emitirá automáticamente un reembolso completo. Los reembolsos los emite el Departamento de Finanzas de la ciudad dentro de aproximadamente 15 a 30 días de la notificación.

NO se emitirán REEMBOLSOS por cancelaciones iniciadas por los participantes.
