KYSA Cheer Registration is open to all boys & girls  between the ages of 5 - 13 years old.  The Cheer season begins the first week in August and runs through October/November, depending on football playoffs. Cheerleaders will be split into two divisions, junior and senior squad. 

Cheer practices will begin the first week in August.  Participants will learn several  cheers and  halftime routines, including age/skill level stunting.

Beginning the first Saturday in September after Labor Day KYSA Football games begin. If any of the KYSA Football teams make it into the post season playoff/championship games the KYSA Cheerleaders will cheer at each game playoff game.

Cheer registration includes the cost of each item every cheerleader will need for their cheer uniform. Listed below is the uniform item every cheerleader will receive before September when football games begin.
