Coaching Clinic Program

SKLL wants to make sure our managers/coaches are ready for the spring season, so we will be participating in a Coaching Clinic Program with former Prout head coach Mike La Barbera at Anchor Sports in Wakefield. This will be a series of 3 sessions, for all levels of coaching, whether brand new or looking to improve your coaching skills. The structure for each session is shown below:

Session 1 - Basic Throwing Techniques (foot work for fielding skills) March 20th (8:30am - 10am)
Session 2 - Specifics to infield and outfield play for progression drills and mechanics. March 27th (8:30am-10am)
Session 3 - Intro to hitting skills with focus on tee work and underhand toss. April 3th (8:30am - 10am) 

You are strongly encouraged to attend ALL 3 SESSIONS - there is NO cost for our managers and coaches, SKLL is covering the cost for all sessions. Pre-registration is required, click the link below to register:

First Aid/CPR Clinics

We are also offering First Aid/CPR classes for our volunteers, on March 23rd and April 6th at 6pm both nights at the Union Fire District headquarters on Asa Pond Road. It is very important that at least one manager and/or coach from each team should plan to attend one of these sessions. At least one person from each team is required to be certified and there must always be at least one certified manager/coach on the field at all times during practices or games.
