KINDERGARTEN PROGRAM

FORMAT
Every Saturday will consist of a 30 minute Skills Training Session lead by Bloomfield Soccer Trainers with the assistance of Volunteer Parent Coaches. Immediately following the training, players will participate in 4 vs 4 Game Play consisting of 4 quarters x 8 mins each. Games are coached primarily by Volunteer Parent Coaches with the help of Bloomfield Trainers.
All Trainings/Games will have a scheduled start time between 9:00AM- 12:00PM on Saturdays
Team Formation:
- teams are formed based first on school and then date of registration. After a team is full (max of 8 players per team), then players from different schools may be combined to form additional teams.
- Teams will complete the Skills Training for the first 30 minutes and then play a 4 v 4 Game against a scheduled opponent Opponents will vary each week.
Training will include:- Instructional activities including dribbling, shooting, passing, trapping & receiving, defending, 1v1 skills, & introductions to combination play.
- Basic Laws of the game: out of bounds, corner kicks, goal kicks, free kicks, restart after goal is scored, basic positioning of offensive and defensive players.Game Play
- 4 quarters x 8 mins each with 3 min break between each.
- Game format will be 4 vs 4.
- NO THROW INS. All restarts will be by kick ins only.
- NO Penalty Kicks or Direct Free Kicks. Everything is INDIRECT.
- The first and last week of the season will be an inter-squad game with your team. Depending on number of teams, it may be necessary for teams to play an additional inter-squad game during other weeks of the season as well.
INCLEMENT WEATHER
Training & Games will continue through rain. Delayed or possibly canceled due to thunder, lightning or extreme weather circumstances. Cancellations due to unsafe field conditions is also possible (i.e. standing water on fields). Updates will be posted on SOCIAL MEDIA FIRST, then emailed by the league to all participants. Any delays or cancellations will be communicated a minimum of 1 hour prior to your scheduled start time.
COST:
$135 per season
(*the purchase of a Bloomfield Soccer uniform kit is also required, $65)
*No refunds after registration deadline. There will be a $3 transaction fee, 3.4% credit card fee, and a $25 Administrative fee will be deducted from all refunds.
