Buildout line
(lined marked halfway between the center circle and penalty area)
NADuring a goal kick and any time the goalie is in possession of the ball, the opposing team must move behind the buildout line until the ball is played. The only exception is in the case that the goalie chooses to play quickly, and not wait for the opposing players to move behind the buildout line.  After a save, if the GK chooses to place the ball down to play with feet, the ball is considered in play as soon as it is placed on the ground and opposing team can move beyond build out line
The Buildout line also acts as an Offside line. Players of team in possession must be in front of the line or even with the ball or last defender of opposing team to stay on side.
Regular Offside rules apply.  Players of team in possession must be in front of the half until the ball is played.  Once play is past the half line then players on team in possession may not be beyond either the ball or the last defender.
