Cancellation Policy

Recreational Soccer (U5 through U15 FVL) and Senior Travel (Gr 9-12): Up to the start of the league season, Simsbury Soccer Club will refund registration fees less a $15 cancellation processing fee to the player. After that date, registration fees will only be refunded for medical reasons on a pro-rata basis. The Simsbury Soccer Club does not refund the costs of any uniforms ordered.

Clinics (U5-U14/15): Up to the start of the clinic, Simsbury Soccer Club will refund registration fees less a $15 cancellation processing fee to the player. After that date, registration fees will only be refunded for medical reasons on a pro-rata basis.

All refund requests should be made by emailing the Club's Treasurer at [email protected]. Requests for refund will not be considered if submitted after October 1 (Fall Season) or May 1(Spring Season).

Travel Refunds 
When registration is submitted to and accepted by SSC, it represents a firm commitment between the player and the player’s family and SSC for the entire season. SSC in turn makes a variety of contractual financial commitments based on the number of registered players. As a consequence, cancellation of registration may represent a financial loss or hardship to SSC. The registration payment is non-refundable. Exceptions to this policy may be requested of the Treasurer, the Travel Director, and the President in special circumstances such as serious injury or relocation. Choosing not to play or moving to another program are not, in the view of SSC, bases for requesting a refund. The Treasurer, the Travel Director, and the President will act on such requests at their sole discretion, and all decisions of this group in such matters are final.
