• All Recreational teams are coached by parent volunteers.
• Practices are held weeknights at Henderson Park in Tucker. Parents will be notified of their child's practice day(s)/time the week before practices begin. U8 thru U12 practices run one hour and typically begin at 5:30 or 6:30. U14 thru U19 may begin as late at 7:00 or 7:30 and last an hour and a half.
  
• U6 thru U19 players wear a TYSA uniform. Purchase is separate from the registration fees and does not need to be replaced from one season to the next.
• Tiny Tykes participants are provided a jersey and ball as part of their registration fee.
  
• U6 thru U12 teams have games on Saturdays at Henderson Park.
  
• U14 thru U19 games are scheduled on Saturdays and Sundays at Henderson Park, Granite Soccer Complex and neighboring clubs.

GAME SCHEDULES
Schedules will be posted under the SCHEDULES tab. "Home" teams will wear GREEN and "Away" teams will wear BLACK. Please always bring both jerseys just in case! We typically post the first two weeks initially, with the remainder of the schedule within the next week.

UNIFORMS & EQUIPMENT
All U6 thru U19 Rec and Academy Jr players must wear a TYSA uniform for games. If you already have the current TYSA uniform, you will not need to purchase a new one. (We do have a training jersey which is required for all Academy Jr and U14-19 Rec players and optional for the younger Rec players.) All other players should purchase the entire uniform kit which includes: two jerseys (home: lime green and away: black), a pair of black shorts and a pair of black socks. New players will receive an email from Lloyd's Soccer with ordering instructions. These will begin going out in mid-December.
   
Other required equipment your player will need includes cleats, shin guards (to be worn inside the sock), a water bottle and a proper sized ball:
U5 - U8 – size 3
U10 - U12 – size 4
U14 & up – size 5
It is recommended that you write your child’s name on the ball.

FIELD STATUS / RAIN OUT NOTIFICATIONS
Field status will be posted to the TYSA website by 4:00 pm each weekday and by 7:30 am each Saturday. We will continue to monitor the conditions and, in the case of late-arriving storms, will update the site as necessary.  

CODE OF CONDUCT
We at TYSA strive to provide a supportive and positive environment for all players, parents, coaches and referees. We ask everyone to remember soccer is a sport and the focus should be on the enjoyment of the game. Let us all be encouraging and respectful. Let us make new friends and create some great memories!

VOLUNTEERING
TYSA has a limited number of employees and we rely heavily on the support of our members. If you have opted in to volunteer, we thank you! You will be contacted when we have an event that requires your assistance.

FURRY FRIENDS AT THE PARK
While we may love having friendly animals around, we do have to ask that you refrain from bringing your pets to practices and games. Animals are not allowed inside the field areas. If your dog is a super fan who just can't stand to miss a game, they can cheer from outside the fence!
