TYSA Code of Conduct

All coaches, parents and players must agree and abide to the TYSA Code of Conduct. Violations to the Code of Conduct may result in, but are not limited to:

- Warning
- Suspension
- Expulsion

TYSA relies upon the support of volunteers, and in particular, volunteer coaches for recreational soccer. Any negative behavior against coaches (and staff), players, parents and/or unpaid volunteers may result in disciplinary action. Except for egregious circumstances (such as posing a physical harm or threat), breaking the Code of Conduct will result in a warning first. The Executive Director has authority to issue disciplinary warnings. Subsequent instances will result in further action being taken. All suspensions and expulsions will be made at the discretion of the TYSA Board of Directors. Other misbehavior not listed below may also be reviewed for censure at the discretion of the TYSA Board of Directors.

If a parent has any issues with a coach, volunteer or TYSA staff member, please make the time to see that individual personally before resorting to emails or voice mails to express your dissatisfaction. Please consider waiting 24 hours after the occurrence as time adds clarity. If you cannot get your issue resolved, please notify the Executive Director or a member of the Board of Directors of your grievance.
