Registration is now OPEN for Fall 24/Spring 25!

Hello NPSC Families,

We know the Spring season is just getting started, but we're already thinking ahead to next year. Because we need time to evaluate players and form teams, we've opened up registration for our Fall '24/Spring '25 seasons on our website NOW! Please take the time to read through this email as it contains a lot of important information about registration, fees and evaluations. And don't forget to register soon - we ask that you do so before April 16th (one week before evaluations) so we have an accurate idea of how many kids we'll have in each age group. After 4/16 there will be a late fee of $55 added to your registration costs and we cannot guarantee a place for your player on one of our teams.

You'll notice a new payment structure (details below) where you can opt to pay for the entire year ($590) upfront or a payment plan of $295 when you register and $295 to be charged to your credit card in January. We felt the need to implement this change because of the incredible amount of time we've had to dedicate to chasing down opt-outs and payments for the Spring season. If your player does not plan to play in the Spring (or you're not sure if they will), please opt for the payment plan. Then just let us know before January and we'll cancel the 2nd payment and you won't be charged for the Spring season. We will be clearly communicating how to let us know you're opting out of the Spring season well before the January deadline. Of course, if there is an injury or other unplanned reason your child can't play we can always offer refunds as well. And if the registration fee is a hardship, please reach out to [email protected] and we will make sure your child can play.

Registration Information:

U8 (2017 Birth Year) - If your child was born in 2017 and will be in 3rd Grade for the 2024/25 school year, please register for our U8 division HERE. If your child was born in 2017 and will be in 2nd Grade, we will be evaluating kids in the Skills Development Program this Spring and inviting them to play on a U8 or U9 team. There's no need to register at this time.

U15 (2010 Birth Year) - If your child was born in 2010 and will be in 8th Grade for the 2024/25 school year, please register for our U15 division HERE. If your child was born in 2010 and will be in 9th Grade, we will only be fielding high school teams in the Spring. Please check back over the winter or check with your child's coach about our high school teams.

U9-U15 (2016-2011 Birth Year) - Registration for the Fall 2023/Spring 2024 season is now open HERE

Registration Costs:

Our registration costs will remain the same as last year, $295 for the Fall season and $295 for the Spring season, but we're structuring registration a little differently this year. We've encountered too many problems asking families to pay their Spring invoices in the past with many paying late or not at all. So we've combined Fall and Spring costs into a one-time registration fee of $590. There are two options available to you when you register:

Payment Plan	You may opt to pay half of the registration cost now and half in January. You should chose this option if you prefer it OR if you are not sure your player will be continuing with NPSC in the Spring season. If your player does not want to continue in the Spring - simply let us know and we will cancel the automatic charge to your credit card in January. We encourage all of our players to play both Fall and Spring seasons, but we understand that there are other sports and commitments they may have. If you do not plan to continue in the Spring - please indicate that when you register. Players not committing to the full year will not be considered for our select teams.

Pay in full	If your player is committing to the full year and you prefer it - you can opt to pay the entire amount when you register.

Registration timing - we ask that players register by 4/16 (one week before our evaluations) so we know how many kids we have in each age group. If you register after 4/16 - we will charge a late fee of $55 and we cannot guarantee that we will have a place for your child on one of our teams.

**NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED AFTER TEAMS ARE ANNOUNCED** Team announcements typically happen by the last week in June/first week in July.

Evaluation Information:

We'll be holding evaluations on the following dates at Oakwood during our practice times. If you would like your child to "play up" into the next age group - please attend both evaluation sessions.

Your child will not attend their regular practices on those days, but will instead attend evaluation sessions on two of those dates as per the schedule above. (We've alternated the Tuesday/Saturday dates for each age group in case of scheduling conflicts.)
