Thank you New  Providence Soccer club for all your Fall season used gear soccer donations. They have been delivered to The Jorge Acosta and are already out in Colombia. Every piece is much appreciated and used. 

We collected 90+ pairs of cleats along with bags, uniform, balls and shinguards.

I’m hoping to coordinate another collection at the end of the fall season so please keep all your gear as you outgrow it!

**The Jorge Acosta foundation is a non profit that donates new and lightly used soccer equipment to over 500 children in and around Barranquilla, Colombia.

Jorge is a former professional soccer player from the Barranquilla area and has never forgotten his roots. As a teenager he came to play soccer in the US having played for his high school team and was a player with many teams including with the US Men’s national Team’s World Cup ‘94 squad.

After retiring he created his foundation to help bring soccer gear to families to enable children to safely play the game of soccer. Jorge is very grateful for the partnership with the New Providence Soccer Club.
