Registration Directions

Registration Information:

If you are a returning player - sign into your account and complete the appropriate registration form. 

NEW to CFABA

1. Create an account. -If you have used Sports Connect with another league (soccer, baseball, etc...) you can use your same information, you will need to click on the continue with registration link at the bottom of the page when you are attempting to sign up.

2. Complete registration, including uploading your child's birth certificate

3. Pay your fee's for the upcoming season

Additional Requirments and Suggestions


CFABA encourages each player to obtain their own equipment. Minimal equipment includes glove, batting helmet and bat. 

In addition, the following equipment must be NOCSAE approved, this can be found by looking for a stamp or mark on the equipment:
1. Batting helmets - must be NOCSA approved and within their lifespan
2. Catchers helmets - must be NOCSAE approved and include full neck guard based upon NFHS rules
3. Catchers chest protector - must be NOCSAE approved

Rules reminder:
ALL catchers, regardless of gender must wear a protective cup - umpires will ask each catcher to verify - failure to follow this rule will result in discipline as defined by the 2025 Rule Book

All parents, players, coaches and guest are expected to abide by the rules, policies, Code of Conduct, and any additional regulations of CFABA and all other governing bodies. Any failure to do so can result in disciplinary action. 

Please note: All orders have a $3.00 service fee from Sports Connect - CFABA DOES NOT Receive any funds from this fee.

Division Age Ranges & Play Dates

4U -  for those 3 and 4 year olds who want to learn the game.

6U - 5 and 6 year olds - T-Ball with limited pitching by the coach

8U -  7 - 8 year olds - A hybrid of player pitch and coach pitch

10U - 9 and 10 year olds - full player pitch

The following leagues may play in larger community leagues with other community based teams in Summit and surrounding counties.

12U -  11 and 12 year olds (will play in the CBL in 2025)

14U - 13 and 14 year olds (CBL - Community Baseball League)

18U - 15+ - including all high school players (SCBL)

Age is determined by their age as of April 1 for CFABA leagues and May 1 for CBL.Parents/guardians are required to sign up for the age appropriate league. Parents/guardians may request that their child is evaluated for a change in league, the decision by CFABA will be final.  


NOTE:  All leagues will play on average 2 games a week. Games will be scheduled for all leagues for Monday through Friday with a game on Saturday. Most weekday practices and games begin at 6:00 p.m. Depending on the field availability games and practices may be played at later times and under the lights.  Saturday games and practices will start at various times with multiple games on each field each Saturday.

2025 CFABA Summer Baseball Program

CFABA offers summer baseball programs for players 3 to 18. Remember that added to your fee at the end of registration is a $3.00 service fee. This fee DOES NOT go to CFABA, rather it is charged by the company that host both our website and handles the online registration system.

NOCSAE Approval

When purchasing equipment make sure it is approved by NOCSAE. 


NOCSAE approved equipment does have a lifespan and must be replaced when the usable time has lapsed.
