- Coaches can start sending recruiting materials
- Go to colleges and watch live college soccer games (Division I, II, III)
- Official and unofficial visits permitted as of September 1st of your junior year, including emails and calls.

- Double-check your transcript to make sure it is accurate
- Begin reflecting on which teachers you will ask for recommendations.
- Develop a “Recommendation Reference Sheet” that a teacher can reference when writing your recommendation
- Understand how your high school handles college applications

Early decision and early action plans:
allow you to apply early (usually in November) and get an admission decision from the college well before the usual spring notification date. You know by December or January whether you've been accepted at your first-choice college.
