Girl's State Cup Teams (Ages U13-U19)

Bethesda's State Cup teams provide players with the opportunity to participate in State Cup, while also taking part in a variety of tournaments and showcase events.   Teams will compete in EDP and ECNL, at a level that enables the players to be challenged, yet also be successful.   The focus in all of our State Cup teams is to create an environment where players are able to grow, develop and improve as they continue to learn the game.   A balanced approach to winning, competing and developing allows the players to be introduced to a number of positions, systems, and formations so that every individual will come away as a more complete soccer player.

Training is twice a week through the year, with our HS teams training weekly in the fall. A third day of Speed and agility training is also provided to our older teams during the winter and Spring.  Girls in the State Cup program are permitted to participate in other sports, however, they are also expected to show a high level of commitment to the team as well.  Goalkeeper training is also provided weekly to ensure our goalkeepers are getting the best preparation and training available.

Many of the players in the older State Cup teams are actively pursuing opportunities to play in college,   Through our tournament and showcase schedule, as well as league play, we try to ensure that all players are given the opportunity to showcase their talents to college coaches.

Our coaches are highly licensed, experienced, and qualified.   They are committed to creating an enjoyable, challenging and rewarding environment where the players learn, grow and develop as players and people!
