The Volunteer Hub system allows parents to choose their own assignments. Once a shift is chosen, it cannot be changed. If something arises closer to the date, parents will need to contact Gina Wessel at [email protected] or 847-984-2897, ext 1.
The RED “Volunteer Now” button located below will be active February 18th. If you already have an account in the Rec Volunteer Hub, please DO NOT set up another account. If you are new to the Rec Program for Spring 2020 you will need to set up an account in Volunteer Hub and create a username and password. The Rec Volunteer Hub is separate from the travel. Keep your username and password for your records as you will need it for future seasons.
GLSA is a volunteer based organization and relies on the parents to volunteer. Due to the number of buyouts and no shows there is NO multi-family shift. Parents are required to volunteer 4 hours per child with a maximum of 8 hours. Families with 3 or more children in the Recreational Program must sign up for 2 four hour shifts.
Coaches and assistant coaches have been notified. If you did not receive an email regarding a coach assignment, you were not selected as a coach or assistant coach, you will need to select a shift in Volunteer Hub to fulfill your volunteer obligation.
All must sign up for their volunteer assignment by March 16th. Once you sign up for a shift, it cannot be changed.
Once online registration is complete and a shift is chosen parents will receive an automated confirmation. If you do not receive this confirmation, you did not complete your registration. Reminder emails for your shift are automatically sent 3 days prior.
Parents who fail to register, chose and work a shift will be billed the No Show Fee $150.
