IBJI has offered sports medicine and physical therapy services for GLSA athletes since 2005, and is proud to continue our strong partnership with GLSA. Our on-the-field services have included injury management, on-call physicians, injury evaluation, and first-aid for all players of GLSA and visiting teams. IBJI’s highly skilled staff is dedicated to minimizing the amount of time lost due to injury, and return athletes to competition as soon as possible.
COMPLIMENTARY INJURY SCREENINGS/EVALUATIONS
IBJI is now offering complimentary injury screenings at the Libertyville Sports Complex and other local IBJI locations. From anything to minor bumps and bruises, or a nagging injury, GLSA members will be able to access IBJI directly through its website 24 hours a day to schedule an appointment. A representative from IBJI will respond in a timely matter. The screening consists of:
-
An evaluation performed by a Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) or Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC).
-
The clinician will explain the extent of the injury and educate the player/parents on a treatment protocol.
-
A parent/guardian must be present to sign a Consent to Treat form for all minors. If over 18, the athlete must show a form of ID for proof of age.
- To request and appointment, please clink on the Injury Screen icon to the right, and select the most convenient location.
ORTHOACCESS
If same day physician care is necessary, IBJI OrthoAccess offers immediate care with specialists who treat non-emergencies like simple fractures, sprains, strains and other minor injuries. Nearby locations include Glenview, Gurnee, Grayslake, Libertyville and Lindenhurst.
