GLSA Adult Program
GLSA ORGANIZED COED RECREATIONAL LEAGUE
Fall 2019 Information
GLSA Adult Soccer leagues are designed to give both men and women the opportunity to play recreational soccer throughout adulthood. All leagues are for fun. There are no records kept and no trophies awarded. Fees are to cover the rental of the fields, officials and jerseys. Players must sign up with a complete team. Individual players may contact the GLSA office and will be put in touch with team captains to be added to teams.
Games start at 6:30 PM sharp at the Libertyville Township Soccer Complex at Winchester Road and Route 45. Rainouts are made up at the end of the season, unless otherwise directed. Please come to the first games 30 minutes prior to your game to receive jerseys if needed.
Teams will be accepted to the League on a first come, first serve basis. The Team Captain will receive confirmation from GLSA of acceptance once payment and roster form have been received. Team registration forms (payment and rosters) will carry over from spring, added players need to be sent to GLSA Office. Fall season begins after Labor Day Weekend, teams will play 8 games. Fee - $1500/team.
For more information or if you are interested in playing, please contact Executive Director, Michael Zovistoski, [email protected].

GENERAL INFORMATION FOR ALL PLAYERS
All players must play equally; therefore, your captain will enforce substitutions among the players.
RAIN-OUTS: If the weather looks questionable, please check the GLSA website. If the game is canceled, the message will reflect this information. All games will be played unless the President of the LTSC, GLSA, or the referee calls the games. Otherwise, please show up for all games. Rainouts will be made up at the end of the season.
This league is organized so that individuals can play soccer and have fun. The league will not tolerate any fighting or flagrant fouls. Team Captains will be given policies and suspension lengths for yellow and red cards.
All players must wear shin guards, and cleats (no metal cleats), and official GLSA shirts. Always bring both shirts to your games as the opposing team may be short players and we may need you to switch teams.
