Coach Bowen holds a USSF National “C” License from the United States Soccer Federation (USSF) and has extensive coaching experience with both boy's and girl's sides from the under 8 to under 18 levels at several Maryland soccer clubs. Bowen has been one of the most successful youth coaches in his Bethesda SC career, helping to develop numerous Youth National Team players during his time. Bowen was also the Assistant Coach for the Walt Whitman High School 2004 Girl’s State Champion side. As a collegiate player, Coach Bowen played for The State University of New York (SUNY) Cortland. Coach Bowen has worked at numerous NCAA D1 summer soccer camps and has served as a Physical Education teacher in Montgomery County Public Schools for the past eleven years.
