Your child's success or lack of success in sports does not
indicate what kind of parent you are. BUT
having an athlete that is coachable, respectful, a great teammate, mentally
tough, resilient, and tries their best IS a
direct reflection of your parenting.
Dear Bethesda Parents,
We are extremely excited to have you with us for the
2018-2019 season, and are looking forward to a great year of learning,
development, competition, and fun.
We are thrilled to continue our partnership with The
Soccer Parenting Association.
As a club we believe the player development
process has 3 important pillars: the player, the coaches, and the
parents. When players, parents, and coaches are aligned in understanding,
expectations, and values, players will maximize their potential and have a
quality experience in the game and with their club. When any one of these
pillars is out of alignment, players’ receive conflicting messages, their
development slows, and the quality of their experience declines
Bethesda Soccer Club is
committed to helping engage and educate parents as part of the player
development process. Through
our partnership with Soccer Parenting, every Bethesda Soccer Club parent will
receive a FREE membership to the
Soccer Parenting Association for the 2018-2019 season. New members, activate your free membership by going to
Soccerparenting.com or click here: https://soccerparentresourcecenter.com/register/club-membership/bethesda/
If you are a returning
member who has registered with the previous platform, simply go
to www.SoccerParentResourceCenter.com, go to log in in the top right corner, and then
reset your password.
The Soccer Parenting Association provides a plethora
of great information, interviews, webinars, presentations, articles and more
from leaders across the country in youth sports and in youth soccer, all for
one purpose: to improve and enhance the experience of youth soccer players by
engaging and educating parents.
Our club is confident that you will find the
information from the Soccer Parenting Association helpful and informative, and
that it will help enrich your athlete’s experience at Bethesda Soccer Club
better. Attached is a letter from the Soccer Parenting Association adding
some more insight.
Thank you for being a part of Bethesda Soccer
Club.
Sincerely,
Shannon Higgins-Cirovski, Girls Director of Coaching
