Thanks to all of you who participated in the 10 Day Training Streak Challenge. It is fantastic seeing so many players working on their own and putting in a great effort. The videos are awesome!! If you completed the challenge, please contact your coach for verification and when get back to training regularly, we will distribute the prizes and hold the drawing!! Please continue to workout and create and post videos through the weekend.
As you all know by now IYSA has suspended all soccer related activities though April 15. We are all hoping that we can get back to training on this date, but are also very aware that this suspension could be pushed longer. In any case, the GLSA Directors and Coaches have been working diligently this week to create lesson plans and virtual training sessions so our athletes can continue to work on their own. Going beyond the optional training streak period, we will accomplish this through age and skill level activities directed by our coaches. We have been meeting regularly through Zoom Chat and each coach will have their own section within the Program Google Classroom, Youth, Juniors and Seniors. You will be receiving further direction over the weekend from your coach as our coach led activities begin on Monday. Our Club and soccer communities will get through this difficult time and we will come out stronger in the end. Our players will be ready when we get back on the field!!
