While prior cheer experience is helpful, it is not required to volunteer.

Are the coaches paid employees of Mallard Creek Optimist Club (MCOC)?

No.

Mallard Creek Optimist Club is a volunteer-run organization.

Our coaches and staff dedicate significant personal time to provide this program for your children while balancing their own professional and family responsibilities.

We ask families to support and respect our volunteer leadership.

What team will my child be placed on?

Age divisions may overlap.

Cheerleaders are placed on squads by the coaching team based on:

• Age
• Experience

Team placement decisions are made to ensure proper development, safety, and competitive balance.
