Fall Recreation Baseball (Aug, Sep, Oct):
Fall Recreation Baseball at Clarkdale Little League is focused on Learning. Teams are allotted more practice time, and less games are played. Most teams will play 10 regular season games during the months of September and October. There are no baseball activities during Fall Break for Cobb County Schools. Participation is lower due to players choosing to play other fall sports. Fall Recreation Baseball at Clarkdale Little League is a great time to start for players who are new to baseball. Players of all skill levels are welcome to participate in Fall Recreation Baseball at Clarkdale Little League.
Spring Recreation Baseball (Feb, Mar, Apr, May):
Spring Recreation Baseball at Clarkdale Little League is a more traditional baseball season. Practices begin in February. Regular season games are played in March and April. Each team plays at least 12 regular season games. Playoff games are usually played during the first week of May. There is an Opening Ceremony before the first games of the season. There is a Closing Ceremony during the last week of the regular season. Players of all skill levels are welcome to participate in Spring Recreation Baseball at Clarkdale Little League.
All-Stars (May, Jun):
Coaches select all-star teams to represent Clarkdale Little League in all-star tournaments. Clarkdale Little League participates in Braves Country and Little League all-star tournaments. The age groups which participate in all-star tournaments vary each year.
Travel Baseball (Aug-Oct, Feb-May):
Travel Baseball at Clarkdale Little League is an option for players who are seeking significant baseball exposure against increased competition. The Travel Baseball program at Clarkdale Little League is called Clarkdale Eagles Baseball Academy (CEBA). Roster spots for travel baseball teams vary each year. Travel baseball tournaments in the fall are Sunday only. Travel tournaments during the spring are Saturday and Sunday and do not interfere with the spring recreation season. Most teams play three or four tournaments in the fall and spring. Players who participate in Travel Baseball through CEBA do not have to participate in the fall recreation season but must participate in the spring recreation season.
Clinics (Aug-Oct, Feb-May)
Clarkdale Little League hosts clinics throughout the fall and spring recreation seasons. The clinics are run by Clarkdale Little League volunteers. The clinics are open to the community. There is little to no charge associated with participating in a clinic. Clinics are best described as focused practice sessions which can accommodate large groups. Players focus on practicing one skill, such as throwing or hitting.
