Snack Shack Volunteer

As a Snack Shack volunteer, you’ll be an essential part of our game-day operations. You’ll assist with the sale of snacks and drinks, ensuring that all players, parents, and fans are well taken care of throughout the day. Your help makes it possible for our league to offer refreshments and raise funds to support our program.

What We’re Looking For:

Friendly, outgoing individuals who enjoy working in a team environment.
Availability to volunteer during home games.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive and helpful attitude.
No prior experience required – we’ll provide training on what needs to be done!

Volunteer Coach

As a volunteer coach, you’ll have the opportunity to lead and mentor a group of young athletes, helping them grow not only as players but also as individuals. You will be responsible for organizing practices, teaching fundamental skills, managing the game-day experience, and creating a positive and supportive environment for your team. Coaches play a critical role in fostering teamwork, sportsmanship, and love for the game.

A passion for working with kids and helping them develop their skills both on and off the field.
A positive, supportive attitude and a commitment to fostering sportsmanship and teamwork.
Willingness to learn and apply Little League rules and best coaching practices.
Ability to communicate effectively with players, parents, and other coaches.
Prior coaching experience is a plus, but not required!

Grounds Crew

Are you passionate about maintaining sports fields and ensuring they are safe and ready for play? We are currently seeking dedicated individuals to join our Little League Grounds Crew team. This is a great opportunity to get involved in the game-day experience and contribute to the success of our league.  As a Grounds Crew Member, you will play a crucial role in preparing and maintaining our fields for games and practices. Your responsibilities will include field preparation, maintaining the playing surface, and ensuring that all areas are clean, safe, and ready for play.

What We’re Looking For:

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to keeping fields in top condition.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
A basic understanding of field maintenance tasks (prior experience is a plus, but not required).
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, as needed, to prepare for games and practices.
Physical ability to handle tasks such as raking, lining fields, and general cleanup.

Umpires

As a Little League umpire, you will be responsible for officiating baseball and softball games, ensuring that the rules of the game are followed and that the game is conducted fairly and safely for all players. Your duties will include calling balls and strikes, overseeing the field, making judgment calls, and maintaining control of the game in a professional manner.

What We’re Looking For:

Knowledge of baseball or softball rules (previous umpiring experience is a plus but not required).
Strong communication skills and the ability to make clear, confident decisions.
A calm demeanor and the ability to maintain control and fairness throughout the game.
A passion for the game and a commitment to creating a positive experience for players and coaches.
Availability to work evenings and weekends during the Little League season.

Field Night Manager

As a Field Night Manager, you’ll take charge of facility operations during evening games, including cleaning and restocking the Snack Shack, maintaining the cleanliness of bathrooms, ensuring supplies are stocked, and securing the field and facilities after games. Your role is crucial in maintaining the overall appearance and functionality of our Little League venue.

Key Responsibilities: 

Cleaning: Maintain cleanliness in and around the Snack Shack, bathrooms, and other common areas. Ensure these areas are neat, tidy, and ready for the next set of games.
Restocking: Replenish snack shack and bathroom supplies (snacks, drinks, paper products, soap, etc.) throughout the evening to ensure availability for all visitors.
Inventory Management: Keep track of snack shack inventory, notifying the appropriate person when supplies are running low and need to be reordered.
Closing and Locking Up: Secure the facility after games by locking up the Snack Shack, bathrooms, and any other areas used during the evening.
Other Duties: Assist with any additional tasks to ensure the field and surrounding areas are in top condition for the next day’s activities.

What We’re Looking For:

Attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
Reliable and trustworthy, with a commitment to maintaining a clean and secure environment.
Availability to work evenings and weekends, as needed, during the Little League season.
Previous experience in facility maintenance or customer service is a plus, but not required.
