Game Times/Dates: June 14-15, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Games start on the 1/2 hour. A horn will sound the start and end of each half.
Tournament Format:
  1. 5v5 with 4 field players and a goalkeeper. A team must have at least 4 to start.
  2. Games are 24 minutes total, with a 2 minute halftime.
  3. Goals are 4x6 (U9-U10) and 6x12 (U11-High School)
  4. Fields are 90 x 75 ft (U9-U10) and 120 x 90 ft (U11-High School)
  5. Each team will play at least 4 games
  6. There will be 1 referee per game
Tournament Scoring:
  1. All schedules and results will be posted online at www.TBD. Be sure to check the website
    throughout the weekend for updates to your team’s standings and report any errors to the
    tournament office immediately. There will be no accommodations for players or coaches that
    choose to be on multiple teams.
  2. Win = 6 points; Tie = 3 points;  Shutout = 1 bonus point;  Loss = 0 points;  Red Card = -1 point
    penalty each (Saturday);  Goal Differential=up to 3 points max.
  3. At the conclusion of the matches on Saturday, seeding for Sunday’s play will be finalized and
    posted online. If 2 or more teams are tied in points at the end of Saturday, the team with the
    fewest points will determine seeding placement.
Tournament Rules:
  1. Athletes may only play one team during the tournament
  2. Teams may roster up to 10 players
  3. Wristbands must be worn at all times. No wristbands = No play. If players wristbands is lost Wristbands are $50. High School players must have ID (license, general ID, ASB) to show if questioned about roster.
  4. Shin guards must be worn at all times during play.
  5. No jewelry.
  6. No metal cleats.
  7. Unlimited substitutions can be made at any time – on the fly (within the designated flag area, except the goalkeeper which can change at halftime or before the game). Players must be within 1 yard of the sideline or completely off before the new player may enter.
  8. If a team is not on the field at the sound of the horn at the beginning of the game or after halftime, the other team may take the ball down and score, even if it wasn’t their kickoff.
  9. Forfeits will result in 6 points being given to the winning team
  10.  Delay in play (booting the ball) will be a yellow card (the first time and red card the second infraction).
  11. The referee will hand the game card to the winning coach, who is responsible to take to the registration booth. If no card is turned in immediately after the game, both teams will receive a 0-0 tie.
  12.  A corner kick=throw in from the corner. Goal kick=Keeper distribution (roll-out/throw).
  13. No Slide Tackling.
  14. Headers allowed at U13 and up.
  15. All free-kicks are direct. A distance of 8 yards for a wall.
  16. In the event of a tie on Sunday, both teams must immediately report to the shootout area. Each team will be given 5 attempts to score. The highest score wins the tiebreaker.
  17. Goalies may not punt or bounce the ball off the ground to kick it. Kicks off the ground or throws are allowed.
  18. If a goalkeeper punts the ball at any time, the ball will be given to the opposing team’s goalie.
  19.  Kickbacks are allowed but the goalie must play the ball with their feet. No picking up on kickbacks.
  20.  Parents & spectators sit on the opposite side of the field from players & coaches (teams will be disqualified for non-compliance).
  21.  Players or coaches who receive a red card will not be able to play the remainder of the tournament.
  22. All decisions by the ref and results are final
