Soccer Program Details

We have both Fall and Spring seasons. Game schedules are provided by SAY East. Please check their web-site http://www.sayeast.org/ for updates. Typically you will have some weekends with one game schedules and others with two games (Saturday and Sunday).

Season Timing:
-Fall - Typically late August through end of October
-Spring - Typically mid March through end of May (excluding memorial day weekend)

All of our coaches are parent/community volunteers. They are required to go through several compliance items such as background checks, concussions and basic safety training before each season.  We have a 2 person rule where at least two adults are present at all practices or gomes who have completed the compliance items.  Fairview SAY soccer always needs volunteers to keep our fun program running!  Please refer to the Coaches and Volunteer page for more information (link to subpage 4)

Program Cost:
Registration fee is $60 for each season and the jersey is $25 additional if you need it.  Scholarships are available - every Fairvie Falcon who wants to, can play!

 Soccer Practice:
-Practices will occur between Monday and Friday after 5pm. Passers teams (U8) will practice once a week for an hour, while Wings and           Strikers teams (3rd grade and up) will practice twice a week for an hour each night. These can change depending on the teams’ needs but  these are the general guidelines
-Practice location:  practice for U8 can either be at the small turf field behind Fairview School or at West Fork Field.  All other age groups will  practice at West Fork Field. (1601 West Fork Rd Cincinnati Ohio 45223)

Game Locations:
-Game locations can be throughout the city of Cincinnati.  Please refer to SAY East website for more information on game sites.  Typically  your team will have all their games at the same location once it is set for the season.

Roster Requests:
-We can not honor requests for players to be on the same team or to be with specific coaches.  SAY East requires that we follow a blind  roster process which means we do not manipulate team rosters. We do ensure that teams are balanced by age distribution of players and  coaches do coach their own children. 

Participation:
-We expect all players to make their best effort to be at practices and games. However, occasional conflicts are certainly expected and we  recommend you communicate with your player’s coach. We do not take requests for switching teams based on practice dates and times.

Team Uniforms:
-We ask that all players purchase and wear the Fairview team uniform of team jersey, black shorts and black socks. We updated the design  of Jersey in 2017/2018 year. If you forgot to order a jersey at registration, please contact us as we may have some in stock.  All jerseys will  need to look like the image below and have a number on the back
