Select Academy Information
Here is some basic information regarding the Redoubt Select Academy program.
Select soccer is an opportunity for recreational soccer players to continue the growth of their soccer skills in an increasingly competitive environment while still placing an emphasis on development.
Select Academy club fees are $450 paid upon acceptance of an invite. Select season is June 1st – May 31st. Select Team fees are typically paid in August and in January/February. Team fees cover Coach’s travel (hotels and meals) as well as tournament entry fees and referees for friendlies/scrimmages. Team fees vary based on each individual team and can range from $200+ depending on each teams tournaments and games.
Select Academy uniforms are used for two years with 2022 being a renewal year. Currently Redoubt Select Academy utilizes PUMA uniforms. A team kit consists of three jerseys, 2 pair of shorts and 3 pairs of socks and costs $200.
Practices:
Select teams practice twice a week.
Traveling:
We have some teams who travel 2-3 times per season (Aug – Nov, Jan – May) and other teams who may travel once per season or who only play local tournaments. Teams also have opportunities to play friendlies/scrimmages with other local clubs.
Redoubt allows the coach and team to choose to play in their own tournaments.
