Baseball Program Registrations

Divisions of Play

Division placement is determined by a combination of variables including player league age, skill level, prior league experience, prior coach recommendation, Little League guidelines and parent input. The registration application will ask several questions to help us determine the correct division for your child based on these variables. You will find information below to help with this process.

    We offer many programs for ages 4-16.  Please see the below League Age determination chart as Little League International has recently made changes to the League Age Definition which could impact your child’s age for the 2021 Little League season.  



    Special Division Requests

    When registering, select the age appropriate division. If you want to request for your son or daughter to be eligible to “play up” in an older division, enter that request in the special request section on the registration form. Please note, however, that limited play up requests will be granted as our experience over many years has shown that players benefit more from being in an age appropriate division as opposed to possibly having to compete for playing time and not pitching in an older division. Likewise, enter “play down” requests in the special request section.

    Laurel Little League reserves the right to re-assign a child to a division other than the one in which he or she is originally registered or requested by his parent. This is done for a variety of reasons: safety, the need for equal teams, for the development of any one particular child, to ensure that each division has the requisite number of players, or for the general well-being of the league as a whole.

    Buddy Requests

    If possible and not guaranteed, two (2) friend requests are honored at the non-competitive Tee Ball and Coach Pitch levels.  All kid-pitch divisions are drafted and no guarantees will be made except in the case of siblings.  Requests will be provided to drafting coaches for consideration, however a priority will be given to balancing the level of play across teams before buddy requests.

    Uniforms

    Each player will receive a uniform shirt, pants, hat, and either socks or belt (depending upon division) which is included in the cost of registration.

    Game and Practice Schedules

    LLL Baseball games and practice schedules won't be published until after registration closes and team formation is complete.

    Some divisions could have a wait list before the deadline since we have limited capacity for field space, coaches, etc.  

    Baseball: Tee Ball, Rookie, Single-A    ,     Double A, Triple A, Intermediate (Ages 8-12)

    Baseball: Juniors & Seniors (Ages 13-16)
    March 14, 2021

    Player Evaluations

    Player Evaluations are mandatory for all league age 8 players and above.

    Baseball: Tee Ball, Rookie, Single-A, Double-A, Triple-A, Intermediate
    March 13, 2021 (Rain Date: March 14, 2021)

    Baseball:  Juniors & Seniors (If necessary): 
    March 20, 2021 (Rain Date: March 21, 2021)

    Season Calendar

    The Spring Regular Season runs from March 2021 to July 2021

    Mar. 15th -18th:    Draft / Rosters (12U Divisions)

    Mar. 20th:           Establish Teams (12U Divisions)

    Mar. 22nd:            Order Uniforms

    Mar. 31st:             Background Check Due

    Apr. 1st:                Open Practice Field

    Mar. 29th- Apr 5th:      Spring Break

    Apr. 4th:              Easter Day

    Apr. 10th:              Laurel Little League Opening Day

    Apr. 12th:              Baseball Gameday

    Apr 30th:                Picture Day 

    May 9th:                Main Street Parade (tentative pending COVID decision)

    May 29th-31st:              Memorial Day (No Games)

    June 5th:                In-house Playoffs

    June 6th:                All-Star Teams Selected (Tentative)

    Coupons

    Coupons will be sent via email and Facebook during the fall.  Please enter codes in the final step in the shopping cart.

    Family Discounts

    Each family receives $20 off for 2+ players each. 

    Residency Requirement

    Your child must live within or attend school within the boundary of Laurel Little League.  Players who formerly lived or attended school within our boundary may be waivered for continued participation eligibility depending upon the situation.  

    Refunds

    Registration fees will be refunded in full, less $50 administrative fee per player, prior to the close of registration.
