Passers is a recreational league for boys and girls who are 7 and 8 years old. All practices and games will be held at the Englewood Soccer Complex at Ward field on Hoke Rd in Englewood. Practice days/times are held at the volunteer coaches' preference, and could be once or twice a week. All games will be played on Saturdays with an occasional Sunday through the course of the season. At the passers level, we try our best to separate the boys and girls into different leagues, however low registration numbers will force us to combine the divisions into a coed league. 

Condensed Playing Rules: 

7 v 7 soccer

Player Equipment: Size 3 ball, shirts, shorts, shin-guards, socks long enough to cover shin guards, cleats with no toe spike. No jewelry/earrings allowed.

Games will be four quarters, each quarter eight minutes long. All players should a minimum of half the game. Preferably all players play equal amount of playing time. A 5 minute half time will be between the 2nd and 3rd quarters. Teams will change sides at the half. 

Restarts: A player may not touch the ball again at the taking of a free kick, goal kick, corner kick, kick off, or throw in until it has touched another player. 

Substitutions: Both teams may sub between periods, on goal kicks, after a goal, extended time out (e.g injury, cautions, send-offs) NO substitutions on corner kicks. Unlimited for teams taking the throw-in, opponents may substitute (unlimited) if the team taking the throw-in substitutes. 

Built out area will be utilized. Opponents must move outside the build out area on all free kicks, or goal kick restarts; opposing players must reaming outside build out area until the ball is clearly kicked, and clearly moves. Opponents must also move outside the build out area whenever the goalkeeper gains possession of the ball. 

No heading allowed. 

No off-sides will be called in instructional games. 

**Parents must sit on one side of the field or opposite sideline of the team. No spectators are allowed behind the goal**
