Jr Stars Division is a recreational league for boys and girls who are 5 and 6 years old. All practices and games will be held at the Englewood Soccer Complex at Ward field on Hoke Rd in Englewood. Practice days/times are held at the volunteer coaches' preference, and could be once or twice a week. All games will be played on Saturdays with an occasional Sunday through the course of the season. 

Condensed Playing Rules: 

6 v 6 soccer

Player Equipment: Size 3 ball, shirts, shorts, shin-guards, socks long enough to cover shin guards, cleats with no toe spike. No jewelry/earrings allowed.

Games will be four quarters, each quarter eight minutes long. All players should a minimum of half the game. Preferably all players play equal amount of playing time. A 5 minute half time will be between the 2nd and 3rd quarters. 

Handballs- an offense when the player deliberately plays the ball with their hand/arm will be called by the referees. Instinctive, self-protecting reactions are not penalized. 

No heading allowed. 

No off-sides will be called in instructional games. 

Only 1 coach from each team allowed on the field at a time. **Parents must sit on one side of the field or opposite sideline of the team. No spectators are allowed behind the goal**
